A mini drone, also known as a micro quadcopter, is a compact unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed for lightweight applications such as surveillance, aerial photography, hobby flying, and educational purposes. The drone typically consists of a lightweight frame with four brushless DC motors mounted with propellers that enable it to lift and maneuver in the air. These motors are controlled by Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs), which receive commands from a central flight controller—the brain of the drone. The flight controller uses onboard sensors such as a gyroscope and accelerometer (IMU) to stabilize the drone during flight and respond to user inputs.
